Why so negative??

Okay... So I just started this blog about me, my life, and my life with Multiple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed with MS in February of 1993 (4 months after finishing college) when I was 24 years old. In the past 19 or so years, I have experienced virtually every imaginable feeling about/response to MS. I have "beaten it," "given up," "tolerated it," "thrived," etc, etc. But one fact remains true; MS sucks! I know it has given me opportunities, experiences, and empathy I never could have imagined without MS; I got to stay home for 5 years and raise my sons. But, at the end of the day, it still SUCKS!! So lets just take that as a given and move forward.

"MS is a disease that rarely kills you. Instead, it just makes you wake up every morning and wish that you were dead"     ---- Richard Pryor

"I realized this is what God has dealt me, and I should be thankful considering all that's happened to me in my life, but MS caused the movies to stop - stop dead - and I miss it."
